Police Department

Police department, one of the important wing of the Government, which is primarily responsible for handling crime, law & order and internal security of the country and safeguarding the life and property of citizens. It is one of the largest forces after military in the country.

SRPF

SRPF: State Reserve Police Force, is an auxiliary force of Police dept. it is assisting police force in maintaining law & order. It is also called as Armed wing of Police dept. In Maharashtra State it is doing a commendable job in Naxal affected areas, under extremely adverse and trying conditions.

Forest Department

Maharashtra Forest Department, being custodian of the State’s rich and diverse bio-diversity, is committed to conservation, management and protection of flora & fauna of the State & Country.

BSF

The Border Security Force is the primary border defense mechanism in India. It is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces of the Union of India.

CRPF

The Central Reserve Police Force is India's largest Central Armed Police Force. It functions under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India.

CISF

The Central Industrial Security Force is a Central Armed Police Force in India. It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India.

RPF

The Railway Protection Force is a security force, established by an act of Railway Protection Force Act for the better protection and security of railway property as defined by the act.

ITBP

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces of India. ITBP is formed for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith.

Coast Guard, Army, Navy & Airforce

Defense forces of the country which guards the frontiers and borders. The Indian Army is the land-based branch and the largest component of Indian Armed Forces. Navy takes care of maritime boundaries of the nation. Air force takes care of air space of the nation.
